Vietnam's five core Central Highlands provinces, Đắk Lắk, Lam Dong, Đắk Nông, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum, grow almost all of the country's robusta. Smaller arabica pockets sit farther north and along the central coast, in Sơn La, Điện Biên, Nghệ An, and Quang Tri.
